The magic of our cuisine has been transmitted for hundreds of years along the stove and metate. Earth, air, water and fire have taught us for generations to respect and live with everything that surrounds us, to feed on nature but also to be deeply grateful to it, which is why our food is a ritual.
Nakú arises from the longing for cuisine that is created with the hands and seasoned with the heart. Our reason for being is to rescue, preserve and promote the Totonac culture through gastronomy.
Our own cooks have been our teachers. They have taught us to venerate and respect mother earth. We love what we do, because our food is a ritual.
